Bout BAD ATTITUDE

With the need to prioritise correctly, I didn't make many songs in 2014. From what I did produce, I decided to put together a short mixtape. Not having more than 8 songs, most of them could be grouped together by theme. Bad Attitude... I did make some sweet boy songs but they were the least numerous. I plan on releasing another album or short mix tape in late 2016. Of course, if I get a deal (which is currently not going to happen for a number of reasons), I will make an epic album sooner.

Without the instrumental loop sections, this collection would have been truly overbearing and exhaustively high-paced, too much. My next collection will be a lot more laid back.

Best of Life
I want to be a rap artist unlike any other, in terms of lyricism, sensibility and tone. This is an example of that intention, albeit underdeveloped in hindsight (as with most of my tracks). Underproduced but packing a few great bars, in BoL I say what's good for me (the best of life) instead of what my peers are saying is good in life, move on to the market with a bad attitude and then I finish with sarcasm about how they sound.

Nostalgia
This is one of my attempts at a classic undergound rap song. The same sort that made me fall in love with certain rap artists mentalities, when they just rapped on a beat and said stuff that I didn't have to laugh at. Irregular flows, irregular topics, irregular bars.

Dollar Crew
This is a loop of a cut from one of my 'unreleased' 2014 sweet boy songs; Cos U Hot, that I loved the sound of. I don't expect anyone sane to like this loop track, this is for the elites. Tbh, I don't expect the majority of people to like 90% of my work, however, the like-rate would be higher with better production (I think of Baby's The Way).

Only one
Is my hastily written response to the grave worldwide situation of 'the Islamic State', ISIS, ISIL, Boko Haram and the like. It brings to the forefront my hatred for religion, the religious and any kind of social separation mechanism. A beat literally from heaven. I needed somewhere to put this song as I was literally too scared for my life to try and push this on my own. I made a music video of me in a closet with different things over my head on that is still in that same closet.

Alongtime
This loop was made back in 2011, probably. I love it so much that I never want to have a collection (mixtape/album) without it. I found it in a great documentary about an old gangster... When I heard it, I knew I needed to work with it. True wordless Hiphop, by my old-underground definition.

One Two
I have a theory: popular hiphop is full of sound effects / a rap song without sound effects on top of the beat will just not work for mainstream ears. So, on this track I decided to throw disturbing sounds at the most basic flow and beat possible, to see if I could make something dark, overbearing and nonsensically functional. All of the 2 word lines have meaning in context, the primary focus is personal strength but i deviate to man-needs.

Money Talk
This was an attempt to make something that was dealing with money, as per usual, but with a different flex. Here, I discuss some of the different currencies we interact with. There's a strong association scheme that most rapheads should appreciate. The singing at the start ... IS PDS and something that will always be in the work at some capacity, maybe not on every song but certainly on every album.

THIS SHIT NEEDS A REMASTER
